About Us

Aquanova is a swimming club based in East London. Equipped with numerous awards/ trophies we pride ourselves quality service delivery and creating good moraled swimmers. Aquanova was founded in September of 1997, under the umbrella of the Cambridge Junior School Academy, by the founding members Trish Viljoen, Merle Korte, Lionel Smeeton, Rob Poulton, Janet Van Huyssteen, Roger King and Lyn Shone. It has since grown to flourish. With well equipped staff and hard working students, Aquanova continues to create success. We cater for swimming, synchro, open water swimming and biathle.

2017 Aquanova Gala:


Buffalo City Aquatics Prize Giving: The Aquanova light was shining bright at the Buffalo City Aquatics Prize Giving for the 2015/2016 season. SA Laser Run and Triathle Champs 2016: The SA Triathle and Laser Run Champs took place in Bela-Bela, Limpopo on 26 and 27 June 2016. This well organized event was hosted by the Limpopo Modern Pentathlon Association at Forever Resorts, Bela-Bela.

Aquanova Aquatics was represented by Tiffany Scott in the Triathle Champs and at the Laser Run by Tiffany Scott and Tiny Majambe.

Tiffany Scott was selected to represent South Africa at the upcoming Triathle World Championships in Sarasota, Florida, USA on 21 to 23 October 2016.

Tiffany Scott and Tiny Majambe were selected to represent South Africa at the upcoming World Laser Run Championships in Lisbon, Portugal from the 1 to 4 September 2016.

Well Done to Tiffany and Tiny. You made AQUANOVA proud.

SA Biathle Champs 2016: The SA Biathle Champs took place in Bela-Bela, Limpopo on 25 June 2016. This well organized event was hosted by the Limpopo Modern Pentathlon Association at Forever Resorts, Bela-Bela .

Aquanova Aquatics were well represented at the SA Champs. Seven(7) of our athletes took part in the different age groups.

Teko Khetsi, Tayla Botha, Tiffany Scott and Sheree Brandt were selected to represent South Africa at the upcoming World Championships in Sarasota, Florida, USA on 21 October 2016.
